Yea I see those too, where they usually come up with the story that they are going over seas or they just got through a divorce and need to sell the car.
The weird thing about this one was that he actually posted his phone number. Normally, scammers will only post their email address(which is usually gmail, hotmail, or something along those lines) so they can't be directly contacted.
I'm beginning to think a friend of the actual owner of the 540i posted it on craigslist as a prank on the owner, so that he would be bombarded with calls from people wanting to buy his car.
