Just like the title states. My car came with factory pin striping down each side of the car. I just wanted to see how many of us have this. My car is Avus Blue and has red/blue pin striping. Mine's not factory though, it was a dealer option. A company in Houston called Coachman did it. | | | 01-18-2006, 03:57 AM | #6 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Just FYI i had the poll changed so we can see who voted for what. You'd flip if you heard how much the racing stripes and other decals on a Cooper S run. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 01-18-2006, 07:21 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: cary, nc Posts: 2,259 | i have it on mine...i think it looks good...i have alaska blue with white pin sriping __________________ 1995 318ti Active Pioneer Speakers [] Aluminum Billet door locks [] ACS Pedals/Deadrest [] ACS Shift Knob / E-Brake Handle [] Clear Corners/Tails/Sides [] Sylvania Exterior Lighting [] Custom CAI [] Dinan Engine Chip [] Dinan Transmission Chip [] H&R Race Springs [] Tokico Illumina Shocks [] BMW X-Brace [] Relocated Lighter Mod [] Custom iPod Mod http://www.cardomain.com/id/robcarync | | | 01-18-2006, 07:33 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | got them on the club sport...they are white. Always thought they were kinda funny but since mine is a non-sport cali package it fits the cruiser theme. That's my story. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 02-03-2006, 04:00 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Richmond Hill, GA Posts: 1,231 | mine was originally bostongrun metallic and never had a pin stripe | | | 03-31-2006, 05:20 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Montclair, VA Posts: 338 | would this be the line down the middle of the hood or what not?? i'm a fan of all solids anyway | | | 05-24-2006, 02:13 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Potomac, Maryland Posts: 230 | i would like a pin stripe... they are pretty sweet on black or dark blue... | | | 05-24-2006, 02:14 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Potomac, Maryland Posts: 230 | Quote: Originally Posted by halobeamin would this be the line down the middle of the hood or what not?? i'm a fan of all solids anyway | rofl, its a long thin line along both sides of the car | | | 05-24-2006, 02:38 AM | #15 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | Mine had pinstripes added by the person I bought it from. Removing those was the first and only mod I've done to the car. Luckily they were just vinyl stick-on stripes and 5 out of the 6 sections peeled right off and only required a bit of citrus cleaner to get the remaining glue off, then some wax. The drivers door took some work to remove and left a lot of glue behind, which required some scrubbing. IMNSHO, It looks a lot better without pinstripes. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH!
