Default Seat repair or reupholster

Hey guys. I'm surprised not to see any posts in this section of the forum. I know by now most of our Ti's are over 17 or so years old. Some still have factory seat covers that are worn and damaged. What solutions do u use? Do u get ur seats repaired at all. Would u get them upholstered if u knew where to go? I'm curious.

Leatherique.

http://www.leatherique.com/

They have a ful line of QUALITY leather repair and restoration products that actually work. Not a "fast" solution, but they worked to restory my front seats from "cardboard hard" (as they call it) to soft again.

But it takes quite some time to fully penetrate, especially if you or the former owner(s) used crappy products before.

I second the the leatherique products, they can take time, but they do work.

After I had the car for about a year, I put on a pair of factory seat covers. After 15 years or so, the driver's side was worn through, so I put the passenger one on the driver's side and now use a full size towel to cover the passenger seat. It's usually just me in the car.
