RealOEM Missing / Mystery Part Numbers Cross Reference?

Hi... Sometimes (often) when searching for a part number on RealOEM or bmwfans there are no results.

Is there an additional resource that has all parts? old vs. new part numbers? a cross reference list somewhere that exists?

Not only have a I pulled a part directly from my vehicle and typed in the part number from the sticker (see below), but frequently when sourcing parts from ebay or other they also do not show up... am i doing something wrong?

This part is in my car, recently removed and if you type this number in it does not appear anywhere, for any vehicle on realoem or bmwfans:
