My Ti cut out and not won't start again. Its not the battery and it has gas in the tank. I'm thinking that it is the fuel pump. It appear that it want to start but it just churns and never start. | | | 03-18-2010, 02:45 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2009 Location: Merritt Island, FL Posts: 351 | Probably the fuel pump, they go bad. There is an procedure in the Bently manual to jump the FP relay and test the pump. You could take the rear cushion out and the black cover off to hear if it is running. __________________ Alpine Weiß 1995 318ti M50tu mostly stock, chip'd 413, AFE Intake. e36 M3 front brakes, e30 M3 rear calipers. e28 3.25 LSD + e30 axles. Under the rear sear cushion there is an access panel that needs to be removed. Then the top of the fuel pump housing unscrews from the tank. | | | 10-15-2010, 07:25 AM | #4 | Junior Member Join Date: Sep 2010 Location: Oklahoma Posts: 23 | http://www.unitedbimmer.com/forums/b...placement.html It's EXTREMELY easy. I replaced mine within minutes. Make sure to check if it has power going to the pump before you go out and buy one. | | | 04-27-2017, 05:09 PM | #5 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2017 Location: United States Posts: 28 | is the pump on the passenger or driver side of the rear seats? | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
