Default Scary Movies ?

Way off base, but I think it might be interesting nonetheless,

What movie do you think was scarier than any other movie you've ever seen ?

For me it would definitely have to be Steven King's "IT". I saw it when I was pretty young, and man, I wasn't right for a while after.

*edit* I couldn't imagine how messed up Steven King's kids are if he was allowed to tell them bedtime stories

I'm not a big fan of scary movies, but I've seen IT, in a completely dark room at 2 in the morning, the two friends I was with were both asleep and I was slightly stoned and I honestly didn't find it that scary

I did see the movie "Small Soldiers" when I was 8 though and had to sleep with the lights on for a week, the Barbies freaked me the hell out

When I know I'm watching a scary movie, it's very hard to scare me. Though I absolutely hate being surprised or scared. But the only type of movies I make an exception for is zombie movies. I LOVE zombie movies.

I don't care for scary movies anymore, except for Scary Movie, Scary Movie II, III, IV . . . .

I saw a double feature, for those who remember double features.
Texas Chain Saw Massacre and I think Don't Look in the Basement.
I'm pretty sure I had to walk out of Don't Look in the Basement. Too scary.
Not even sure if that was the title.
I don't exactly remember the early 70s.

Watched The Shining once. Can't watch it again,

I wasnt "stoned" but i was definately in an "altered state of perception" .. I'll leave it at that without being specific or incriminating.

*edit* I LOVE "The Shining"
