I don't know the exact weight, but it felt like it was about 20-30 pounds. Not very heavy. __________________ moku 1996 318ti Cali Top w/ Downing/Atlanta Supercharger 2003 M3 w/ CSL trunk, splitters, & diffuser | | | 03-22-2006, 06:24 PM | #37 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | I would imagine it reduces weight especially compared to a regular sunroof (all the roof steel plus a motor). Weight increases with convertibles are more due to chassis reinforcements. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 03-30-2006, 01:20 AM | #38 | Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Ridgefield,CT Posts: 62 | 1995 318ti clubsport black sunroof delete | | | 03-30-2006, 01:34 PM | #39 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Puerto Rico Posts: 885 | My TI is non sunroof, but one month ago I pay about $650.00 to install a universal glass sunroof, look and function fine, it open inside the roof or outside , and when I off the car it close automatic....... __________________ BMW...MY NEW TOY Mods: Some plastic parts, ///M Wheels and me | | | 03-30-2006, 03:19 PM | #40 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Montclair, VA Posts: 338 | i have the sun-roof delete, but want a sunroof oh where oh where could you be, sunroof?? ill take good care of youuuu, sunroof | | | 03-30-2006, 03:21 PM | #41 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Montclair, VA Posts: 338 | and is it only $650.00 to put one in?? | | | 03-30-2006, 09:01 PM | #42 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Puerto Rico Posts: 885 | yeap, my civic have one too...in Puerto Rico that is a common modification, some cars in the iland have it, for that the price!!! __________________ BMW...MY NEW TOY Mods: Some plastic parts, ///M Wheels and me | | | 04-09-2006, 10:23 AM | #43 | Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Kauai, Hawaii Posts: 41 | sun roof california soft-top | | | 04-10-2006, 06:06 AM | #44 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Quote: Originally Posted by bobvilas california soft-top | Nice!
