Default Performance BMW (2/2006) WTF is this??

There is a yellow 318 coupe widebody in the 2/2006 edition of Performance BMW. It has a DASC installed (claims 236bhp and 178lb/ft). I know we've been over the whole "you can't put a BOV on a DASC", but look at the pics:

Directly above the bypass valve, it looks like they mounted a BOV.

It looks suprisingly similar to an HKS Super Sequential BOV:

I'll paypal $10 to the first person that can find out how they did it. BTW...The DASC was installed by Azevedo Motorsports.

I get why you need a BOV in a turbo (backpressure between shifts slows down the turbine) but why in a supercharger?

It's funny how people exaggerate figures; 236hp at the wheels. So I guess his car has 295hp at the flywheel!?

Downing Altlanta would probably want to contact him and hire him for R&D and then raise the price of their kit!?

Cheers,

If the BOV vents to atmosphere (it looks like it does), the car would die everytime it opens. The MAF already accounted for that air, and now it's gone! I can't see the intake tract, but I'm sure he's got the factory MAF in place. WTF????

Does anyone know the guys at Azevedo Motorsports??

My client showed me the article the other day and I'm sure it said wheel horsepower. Maybe it's the magazine that got the info wrong. But never the less, what mod was made that constitutes an additional 26hp? No cams? No port & polish? No NOS?

Cheers,
