Style 5's are OEM BMW wheels and come in various sizes. The most common style 5's these days are from the e39 and require semi-stretched tires, hubcentric rings and fender rolling in order to fit our cars as the e39 uses a 74.1mm centerbore and a 20mm offset. E36's have a 72.56mm centerbore and a 35-45mm offset. If you are in fact looking for authentic BBS RS's, good luck as they're discontinued and are becoming rather scarce. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 01-29-2009, 08:00 AM | #3 | Member Join Date: Nov 2008 Location: Vancouver BC Posts: 99 | No Im not looking for the BBS ones, my mistake truthfully I wasn't sure what company made the style 5's because I had seen many postings saying that they are the bmw bbs style 5's. Anyways the BBS RS's would be nice so why not include them in this thread haha, though I won't find a set for any reasonable price. | | | 01-29-2009, 03:41 PM | #4 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Quote: Originally Posted by applecrisp No Im not looking for the BBS ones, my mistake truthfully I wasn't sure what company made the style 5's because I had seen many postings saying that they are the bmw bbs style 5's. I just bought a set and I plan on replacing the BMW emblems with BBS emblems as well as some other customizations. Style 5's aren't that hard to find, might be a little more difficult on this site since they weren't meant for our cars(although they look so damn good on them!). Anyway, best of luck to ya! I'm sure you'll find a set. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 01-29-2009, 06:00 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | Quote: Originally Posted by applecrisp Anyways the BBS RS's would be nice so why not include them in this thread haha, though I won't find a set for any reasonable price. | hell, just expand it to basketweave rims in general | | | 01-29-2009, 09:20 PM | #6 | Member Join Date: Nov 2008 Location: Vancouver BC Posts: 99 | Tifreak you read my mind.
