Hate to let it go but my plans have changed a bit. 1997 White 332TI 3.2l swap from a 1997 M3 sedan (engine, tranny) Z3 Diff Smaller crank pulley Aftermarket Intake Magnaflow muffler M3 Contours squared setup Vader front seats E46 front brake upgrade Momo steering wheel M3 front bumper Yellow fog lights correctly setup to pass inspection 185K miles on the swap and around 178k on the body No dings and paint shines beautifully Legal tints all around Recent service includes new spark plugs, fuel filter, water pump with metal impeller, radiator, radiator hoses, serpentine belt, a/c belt pulley. The car drives very smooth and pulls very hard. A/C blows cold and heater works great. Power mirrors and sunroof in great working condition. The passenger side window just started getting stuck when lowered about half way down but it comes up all the way and seals fine. Car is garaged as it is my 3rd car and Sunday funday toy. For work purposes, if I'm away from home for more than two months, the car will start right up on the first attempt. The car is in a great general condition and turns heads everywhere it goes. Hate to see it go. Asking price $7,400. Located in Suffolk, VA. Thanks for looking. Suggestion would be to add more photos and if needed host them on flickr or a similar site. It's been raining in my area for the past several days so hopefully by the weekend I'll be able to wash and wax and take better pictures. | | | 11-03-2015, 03:18 AM | #4 | Member Join Date: Oct 2013 Location: Washington DC Posts: 36 | Here's a few more shots. | | | 11-03-2015, 03:21 AM | #5 | Member Join Date: Oct 2013 Location: Washington DC Posts: 36 | And a couple more. | | | 11-07-2015, 03:17 AM | #6 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | Beautiful, well sorted car | | | 11-28-2015, 04:26 PM | #7 | Member Join Date: Oct 2013 Location: Washington DC Posts: 36 | Thanks! Has the clutch/flywheel ever been replaced? Any problems getting it through VA inspection with the swap? Any chance you ever bring it up closer to the DC area? I would like to check it out, but Suffolk is quite a drive. Thanks! Edit- What suspension is on the car? What's the ratio on the Z3 diff, and is it LSD? The previous owner bought it from the guy who did the swap. Not sure on the clutch/flywheel but it does have a good feel to it. Has been through VA inspection and the swap was not an issue. I could go up a bit further north, maybe Richmond. As far as the suspension, it has H&R springs with Boge shocks front and Bilstein shocks in the back. Not sure on the diff ratio nor if it is an LSD but it is pretty high. Hope this helps. | | | 01-09-2016, 06:38 PM | #10 | Member Join Date: Oct 2013 Location: Washington DC Posts: 36 | Still available. | | | 01-10-2016, 01:38 AM | #11 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2016 Location: westechester ny Posts: 4 | love the color .........can we chat?.....I just sold my track car... Since someone asked who performed the swap, I'll give this a bump. I had the swap done by Bill @ Bimmer Clinic in NJ. Regarding the mileage though, I think you may be off by quite a bit unless the person I sold it to drove it a ton. The engine and transmission was from a donor M3 with only 78k miles at the time. I think around 2009 when I picked up the M3. __________________ 1997 332ti: 18" Gold BBS LM Repro wheels, 245/35/18 tires, H&R Sport springs, Bilstein Sport shocks, 328 front calipers w/ Brembo vented rotors, Brembo rear drilled rotors, X-brace, M3 front bumper, M3 mirrors, Euro clears all around, 6k HID, Black kidney grills, French fogs, Full Magnaflow exhaust w/ High flow cat, Auto - manual swap, B&M short shifter, 3.23 LSD, URI crank pulley, 3.2 OBDII engine swap, Kirk 4 point roll bar, Dove vaders. | | | 04-27-2016, 04:12 PM | #15 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2016 Location: Elkhorn, WI Posts: 22 | Emailed through the craigslist ad.
