If you can fix those things, especially the shaved handles, youll have an amazing car but right now it looks more like a money pit.... Good luck though, could be a fun car once you restore it. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 12-15-2007, 10:48 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | Quote: Originally Posted by SDKmann I would have been extremely jealous of you but then I saw the shaved door handles and two tone paint job. Good luck though, could be a fun car once you restore it. | the shaved door handles dont bother me at all. and the paint job is extremely well done. door jams are also all painted to match. and the doors are already all wired with poppers. thats an easy job! __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 12-16-2007, 12:43 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | Yeah except shaved handles are rice and youll never be able to use any of that sport equipment since you cant race on a track or strip with shaved door handles. And it doesnt matter how well the paint job was done, it needs to be fixed ASAP. Like I said, good luck on getting it back on the road.... __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 12-16-2007, 01:09 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | i dont really plan on changing that. and thats all matter of opinion of the paint job. you dont like it, i do. but i do appreciate the opinions and words of advice i dont plan on using it on a track and i still get use out of the sport equipment every time i turn. If i was planning on using it as a track car i would want to go through and replace all the suspension for something a lot newer and tighter. __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 12-16-2007, 01:13 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | that's old school 80's cool i'm a fan of the look and paint. but then again...i'm just into cars...period! nice find __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 12-16-2007, 01:19 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: G-dale, California Posts: 1,698 | congrats! you need to stop buying cars bro lol nah i like the look a lot! any e30 is nice in my eyes id get some m3 bumpers on there drop it a little more...get some nice rims and BAM you got yourself a sick e30 __________________ Live Everyday As If Its Your Last A friend is someone who is willing to step into a flame to save you........aka a 318ti | | | 12-16-2007, 02:58 AM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | yeah for sure im looking for a mtech 1 or 2 kit and then some wheels. i found some really nice 17's in austin but i would have to roll fenders __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
