Thumbs up 1996 318ti M-Sport 85k Auto Mint

Hey guys I want to get rid of my car for something alittle bigger and quicker. I am the second owner. Car is garaged. It is automatic no sunroof, and woodgrain kit. It has the Sport/M package. Is totally stock except for red/clear tails.

I am in NY - I travel to Md and Philly Sometimes so it may be possible to deliever along that way. I am looking for 6500$ or B/O or trade. I am interested In something like a 2001 X5, a WRX wagon or PT crusier turbo. Something with more room and power. Feel free to ask anything or make offers.

Fine looking car there.

Is the rear diffuser on the bumper is silver/white? Usually on a stock sport they're black, is there a story behind it?

Also is the nose panel damaged near the kidney grills?

Good luck on the sale! I would've definitely picked this car up a year ago!

Yes it is painted- At the time I bought i did not realize they came black only. I bought it from the orginal owner's sister. Apparently he pained it to look better. Like alot of black people do to the black molding lol. Sorry I had to say that cause all the black dudes around here paint all their BMW's like that haha. Nose panel damage- yes there is very minor dent.. I actually did not notice it till I brought the car home. But I have had 2 of my friends look at it. And it does not appear to have taken any major damage. I have been tempted to buy a new piece and the e46 style grills off Ebay. But never did. For under 200$ you can have the new grills and new panel- shipped- but not sure how much painting is. But anything on this car is very minor- nothing that has been worth to fix. For the deal on got on the car to start fixing all those minor imperfections would not make sense. The grills themseleves are not broken.. there is just a dent there. If you fixed the 2 or 3 minor imperfections on the outside the car could pass as new. Even as it is I have had people say WHAT? When I tell them it is a 1996- they are usually like I thought it was like a 2003. But of course the fact they were only made till 99 gives it away that it cant be newer than 99.. so I just tell people it is a 99 lol But if they were smart they would know the 99 has the m3 steering wheel.

I really want a 2001 x5 and I found a 5spd with 88k for only 12 grand.. so I want to get rid of my car asap before someone else grabs the X5.

That was really ignorant. I'm offended and I'm not even black.

don't really see what that has to do with black people I've seen plenty of people with their body moldings painted on BF.C, I doubt every one of them are black, might have been a good idea to have not made that comment in the first place
