When I shut off my car, the noise continues. I popped the hood, and found the part thats running, but Im not sure what it is. Its a black cyclinder w/ numbers on it: 34.51-1162 291 and 10.02020143.4.Looks like we're headed to the dealership on this one. Anyone have any suggestions??! Thanks!! | | | 09-16-2008, 03:27 PM | #9 | Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: PA Posts: 45 | Well, upon some translating of a German Ebay page..I found the parts are my ABS pump and ABS Hydraulic Block. Any suggestions why they are failing? | | | 09-16-2008, 05:19 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | Jack up the rear and try and spin the rear tires. Rear caliper/parking brake may be locked up (not enough to really slow the car), heating up the rotor and literally burning out the pump/hydraulics. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 09-16-2008, 07:08 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: St. Louis, MO Posts: 201 | Quote: Originally Posted by bachic55 Well, upon some translating of a German Ebay page..I found the parts are my ABS pump and ABS Hydraulic Block.
