Is this unit plug and play, or will it require special wiring? I have just the base unit in my car. Not being mechanically inclined, I would hate to have to cut and splice. Do you know if I would be able to simply remove my radio, and plug this one in? Also, how would it affect the security system?

Yes, this is a PNP unit for our cars....as far as security goes, ive had no problems. I believe it came standard in the ones in europe.

I dont have a buy it now feature on the auction, but it is "No Reserve", so high bidder wins. All lights work and there are no dead pixels.
