Ok.. let me know when you find one for that price, cause I'll need to replace my motor soon, too. LOL

I like the tranny idea too, actually

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.

I'm not trying to be, honest.. sux it came across that way. truth is I need a new/rebuilt/used (whatever) engine myself since I lost the threads in the spark plug hole on the head (# 2 cylinder) and the car is now barely fixed with the 'helicoil' thing but has a CEL on... + has about 140K on the clock. only reason I'm saying the Bav Eng Exc ( & I realize it is too expensive) is because that was the only thing that I came across (- ebay BS which you can not trust). so chill, you are not the only one in that boat.

does J!m still have his '98 motor? He's in CT too I think. Hell he could install it too.

And give Marko a break, he's a good member. He did try to help you with his first post.
