Default PPP code?
I took out the battery on my car today and when I put it back I got the PPP code on the clock display? What is that and how do I get rid of it? There is a very brief mention of it in the owners manual, but it just says to go to a BMW retailer.
Anybody seen this before? I did a search but nothing came up...

Maybe it asking you to re-enter the radio's passcode. IT would have come with the original paperwork/manual from the dealer. Hopefully you still have the code #. If not, I assume the dealer could reset it, because they undo the battery connection all the time, and would need to reset the passcode each time.....

Wow!! A reply.......this place IS actually alive!!!


Actually the PPP code is showing on the clock display, not the radio. I have the radio code. I put that in and the radio started working fine. But the PPP remained. Its been like that since and it stays showing on the display whether the car is on or off.
