You know you drive a 318ti when you walk out to the parking lot, don't see your ti and panic, thinking its been stolen. Then you realize it was just hiding behind another car.

"But how do your roll the window with the keys .if the car has the option."

On driver's side, turn key to lock doors and continue holding the key in that position. If the feature is working, you will then see any open windows and/or sunroof close.

You know you drive a 318ti when you figure out the little thing is returning over 30-mpg average!

You know you drive a 318ti when you have a bunch of parts in your garage you need to get rid of from your last project.

When you like your ti so much, that you buy another one in less than a month after the first one, bringing your current Bimmer total to six. If I see a Black 99 with a Cali top, I may own seven...

I'd like to get them all down to the river for a nice photo. I sold a six series to get the first ti. I may sell one of my 5s. While I like them all, too many cars for me to be practical.

You know you drive a 318ti when...
  • your car is E36 on the outside and E30 on the inside.
  • you try to order Bilstein PSS coilovers and they just laugh at you.
  • you have an E36 that can comfortably deliver an S52 and a full set of wheels.
  • you notice more an more differences between the compact and your M3 coupe.
  • your friends wonder where the rest of the ass end of the car went
  • you buy a car that only comfortably seats two to not haul around said friends
  • you're relieved to own a BMW that only needs to take 89 octane

You're giving a friend a ride and they ask you to "pop the trunk" and you walk back to open it and blow their mind.
