I know it's nothing new, and many have done it, but i'm just really happy with the result. things, changed: power window switches X 2 sunroof switch X 1 Ashtray X 2 cig lighter ring X 1 + 3 burn out Clock X 4 light angle adjust X 1 oh, and 1 in my alarm keyfob and 1 for the flashing alarm inside the car. the climate control and Dash will not be able to change with just LEDs My Head Unit also has Blue lights. looks really good in the dark. i'll post some pics once i find out how to do it __________________ -Impyboy | | | 08-24-2006, 02:51 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: PA Posts: 1,906 | __________________ | | | 08-24-2006, 11:15 PM | #3 | Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: London Posts: 79 | Yeah, that's what i meant. i couldn't work out how to upload to my gallery. I didn't like the orange lights. can't think of the right word to describe it, but the cool blue was a nice change, even though i've onlyhad the car for a bit over a month. i might do some mood lighting in blue too. and eventually get the electro luminecent dials. __________________ -Impyboy | | | 08-29-2006, 01:39 AM | #10 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | I like the idea of the blue lights but imo the orange is easy on the eyes. I swapped out all the interior bulbs with leds and the picture doesn't do justice, they are mega bright. If you do decide to do lighting this is where i bought my bulbs from. www.superbrightleds.com __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 08-29-2006, 03:12 PM | #11 | Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Ohio Posts: 61 | is any store have that kind of led bulbs? How does it look | | | 09-05-2006, 02:50 AM | #15 | Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Braintree MA Posts: 43 | I think it looks great, but coming from a VW and entering the bimmer world, I'm used to the blue lights. I think the orange looks very normal and bland. The blue interior lighting is actually the reason why I got a VW. Anyways, how does your new blue console look with the orange dash? I'd really like to see the dash lighting. I want to change that to blue, and do the console like you have. I fall asleep at night driving with orange. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
