Default 1995 EWS Bypass?

Just picked up a 1995 318 with a no start issue. Fuel pump doesn't cycle when the key is turned on, no power at fuse either. And the starter doesn't engage, no clicks or anything. Seems to be an EWS related issue, and all I can find is bypass chips for the 6 cylinders, or bypass modules for OBD2 cars. Anybody here know of a fix, or do I just have to find a replacement DME and EWS?

I have the same problem. Did you ever get yours figured out?
