Just bought a RHD 97 318 Ti M from Japan, and was wondering where I can get some new seats for this thing? Also, is there anything I need to watch for on these cars? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

Do you mean you want new OEM seats or are you looking for aftermarket?

+1 to all of the above^^^

Also, preventative maintenance is the key to keeping these cars going, id start out with the cooling system and then onto some new suspension parts

Default Curious...

What prompted you to buy a RHD model from Japan when Canada drives LHD? I found three nice ti's in Victoria, BC, recently...may have saved you some money on shipping! I agree with the above-if you have no history, start with fluids and hoses.

Default RHD

Had a RHD RX7 2 years ago, and liked the wheel on the wrong side! Actually getting the car shipped for $2400.00 total..I will be looking at the hoses and fluids firstly...thanks

I like the RHD cars. It would be fun to drive and see people react to it.
Good luck with your seat search.
And, welcome to the Org

hmmm, nothing off the top of my head, for those who want great quality seats I suggest E21 Recaros, either reps or refurbished ones, they're more expensive and aren't designed for the ti but they are the single greatest seat I've ever sat in, hands down

Well as a bolt in solution you arent going to find anything new for 2-300 a pair. The mounting brackets alone will run you about 200. I would also steer clear of cheap reps because they tend to use a cheaper cloth that gets beat up by UV (ie black seats turn purple in 6 months). If you're going for vinyl/leather then that shouldn't be an issue though.

I have some Sparco fixed backs in my rat racer/DD e36 332is. Cost me under 450 for them and the sliders.

They don't match but as I mentioned it's a rat.
