Default HID whore

so basically i was the one here that didnt really care too much for HIDs and told people just to stay with the normal H1 halogen bulbs....

after 6 sets of H1 bulbs($150) i said F it im just going to go HID and have more light and sex appeal

So i just ordered 2 sets of HID kits. 1 is a 3000k Yellow for the foggies and a 6000k for the Lows. Im so excited to get them on and running!

....ps i know some people dont like yellow fogs but hey i dont care

pics coming soon

i had a fog light problem...the guy before me had spliced into the headlight power wire to power the fogs and it became loose and my bulbs kept burning out and i couldnt figure out why.

3000k isn't going to be that yellow. I like the look of headlights and fogs that match, but hey it's your car. Post some pics when get them installed.

BTW dusten i know you got HID fogs also...
what did you do to wire them up? my fogs are after market so im thinking of just plugging in the wires to the fogs to the P&P connectors on the ballasts and wire them up like that. So that if i ever want to go back to stock it wont be that hard.

i prefer yellow/french fogs, but not necessarily hid fogs. especially if they're not designed for hid in the first place and don't have a proper cut-off. hid high beams are pointless too, imho. but at the end of the day, if people want hid sidemarkers, more power to 'em.

gotta wake up in 4.5 hrs to go to work.

I think yellow looks good on a dark car. you should be fine. Hids in the fogs are not for me but should look good. If you need another set of ballasts at any time hit me up i have an extra set.

i have yellow fogs right now, yellow H1 bulbs, and i love it! i know HIDs in e36 fogs wont be the best possible set up but they sure as well will look sexy but then again my foglight mod is still under construction...just waiting on Hugo to get me some projectors
