Insead of buying a new cable i unscrewed the broken off tab and remade it out of a peice of steel with a tab that clamps the cable into place. If you dont have the fab skills another good way is to remove that tab that screws in and take a small pick or screwdriver and make sure u can slide it up that hole at an angle. You may have to bend it, then heat it up with a lighter ( not too hot, better to go slow) and bore a hole through so you can put a fat ziptie through. Then line up the cable and tighten.

No photos, but I polished my Style 5s last night. Not that they were particularly dirty or messy, I just wanted to see how good I could get them. Revealed a couple little nicks and scratches, and I definitely want to refinish the centers someday, but its fine for now. My new Falkens are on delivery today, so with any luck I'll have them mounted and on the car by tonight.

Done and done!

If anyone is wondering, the tires are 205/40/17. Little bit of stretch, but I was expecting it to be a lot worse. Real happy with how they turned out. Now I just need to give my car a good clean, and start shopping for some good suspension.

Its cold up here in Canadia but while checking if my Ti is fitted with an alarm i decided to fix my ashtray as the mechanism to open and close didnt work and it really annoyed me. On the up side i found $5.29 in cold hard american cash, which is like the equivalent of 50 bucks I'd say with this exchange rate. Ps the ashtray gear and spring popped off Easy fix

That led me to open the little light that burned out. I cant seem to find this L shaped bulb and housing online, anyone know where I can get one? It would be nice to see it lit up.

And finally the salty and surprisingly not rusty Ti making its debut on here.
Ill wash it soon.

My school is redoing their stadium, so my parking lot is covered in dust an mud. Absolutely ruined my polish job, got dirt all over my car. Planning on getting some nice photos soon, but in the mean time here is my only daytime shot.

Default Key Fob

Finally sourced an OBD2 key fob locally and annoying the neighbours with the alarm. Thankfully with a little help from Eurohb I realized I had everything set up just needed the fob

Got and extra fob and the whole module with harness and horn that I might post up on the classifieds if there is interest in it.

DIY clutch stop, shortened shift lever, and new shift knob. Sooooo much better. The knob doesn't come off in my hand every other time I hit second anymore!

I found out that the head on the engine I bought is un-saveable. Twisted like a corkscrew.

Washed the salt off the Ti and pulled out the IS to let it breathe!

And went to fill up some gas and the alternator died! Literally everything is original and untouched after 260,000 km. Some build quality.

Also found out my check engine light with the code for the cam shaft position sensor that intermittently comes on, the circled hose has a few cracks at the end!

Slidell. It's where I-10, I-12, and I-59 all intersect. There don't seem to be any other ti's in the area.

finishing up my Coil on Plug.

So... I hope I kept all my lines in a row and well connected.

I didnt have all the tools / bits I would have liked to use. Electronic stores just are not what they used to be.
