i'd do metal or plastic, doesn't matter to me. I feel like most people have a surplus of motors anyways, so even if you do blow one up, you can swap it out.

Hey guys,

Yeah, I still have the model. I made a few copies of the gears before sending them back to you. I also designed them in CAD so I have a digital version as well.

I will let him know that metal should be fine and get a quote for the work.
