Default Superchargered!

Supercharged By corky Bell..

I got this book the other day and it is awsome. I learned about cars mostly from friends, but what the hell did they know! I finish the book and all I got to say is "you will never have another question about supercharging again".

It is over 300 pages long and talks about the bmw Z3 1.9. Which is in the 318ti. It has over 30 pages on how to build a custon S/C for our car. I stumbled on to this.

"Chapter 19 Implementing the Design"
The original z3 as bmw intended it!

European Car featured a 318ti supercharged by Corky Bell back in 96 or 97. Interestingly, that same car popped up on EBay about two years ago. Still looked great.

Where did you pick up the book? How much was it?

I agree, this is one of the best books out there. It has a great section on air/water intercoolers and determining the weak points in your system.

FYI...Corky Bell strictly says NO to alcohol injection. Maybe someone with the book can type up the single paragraph he dedicated to it?

I cant find it, I need some sleep. I will leave you with this "All things considered, you would be far ahead never to have heard of water injector."

Yeah, Corky is very opinionated about a lot of things, one being any supplemental injection system. There is a lot of very useful information in his Supercharged and Turbocharged books, but it is just one of many books out there.
