Default Wiring XM radio into dome light

I'm planning on wiring my XM radio into my dome light, but which wires to use? there are 5 wires, and i just want to make sure which wires to 'tap' into before i started cuttin..any help?

Your dome light? Do you mean your map light?
Your dome light fades off after you open or close the door.

what voltage does the xm need? can't you pull off the feed for the standard radio?

i want to keep my radio up by the R.V mirror. So something that stays on while the car is and off when the car is off. i dont have enough wire to run into the CD deck...any ideas, and if so which wires to use?
