Question Delivery recommendations for motor swap on pallet

I'm looking to purchase an M52 or S52 (from oil pan and up) pretty soon from a bfc forum member in Connecticut. I have to figure out how I would want it shipped and delivered. I am considering conway, R+L carriers, or any other delivery service of that kind.

Anyone have any suggestions/recommendations on who to go to, and how much to expect to pay? I would like it to be delivered to my residence.

anyone have a motor delivered from up north to the MAR? thanks

some replies I have received from BFC thread
........................................................................

"Have you considered renting a pickup truck? You'll need an engine hoist anyway (and they're cheap at harbor freight). All you have to do is lay it down on a tire."

"I had a good experience with R+L carriers -- I'd use them again and I reccomend them. Free lift-gate services and they deliver to residences. I think I paid $225 to ship a palleted engine from Baltimore to NC."

Here is a quote from R+L Carriers,

am I doing it right?
