97 318 swap 97 m3 motor

i just swap the 97 M3 motor into my 97 318i but for some reason i couldn't get the car to start.
it crank but no spark.
do i need to install m3 cluster or no???

You need a 6cyl cluster, not sure that would have anything to do with it not turning over.

i got 97 m3 motor and trany
DME
cluster
and the comp. wiring
car will crank but no start, has fuel but no spark
check all fuses,
engine was runing fun in the other car
is there anything that i missing????
or should i change complete wiring inside out

It sounds like a problem with the EWS. You are going to need to bring it to a dealer to have them align the EWS to the DME <I think>.

Most poeple fail to do this when they are performing engine swap.
