Default Vented Rotor Upgrade Complete

Here are some pictures from my vented rotor upgrade project:

New UUC SS Brake Lines:

One note here, these lines have fittings that don't seem to be metric. I had to use an adjustable wrench on the upper end, and the brake end is a tight fit with an 11mm wrench. Also, there is not enough clearance to use a flare-nut wrench, which is generally used for brake lines.

After install, I bled the system using a pressure bleeder (as per Bently manual instructions) and new ATE Super Blue brake fluid. Also bled out the clutch slave too.

Braking action is fantastic. Clutch also feels better - there were actually some bubbles in the slave surprisingly.

I had also replaced the rear control arm bushings a few months back. The combination of the two now gives the car excellent control under braking.

I like how you painted everything up black. Looks very nice! I upgraded mine to the 328 brakes (pretty much the same) with the oddly vented ATE discs.. I still need to add braided lines to both the calipers and clutch
