We are the second owners - purchased from BMW Mountain View, CA in 1999 Certified pre-owned. Wife's daily driver (2.3 mile commute each way) until 2007. Garaged until 9 months ago. The car has been very well taken care of by Phaedrus of San Francisco things such as cooling system plastic parts were preemptively replaced. Fairly new brakes, clutch and tires. Complete maintenance records available. Interior is in very good shape with but a few water stains on the grey cloth seats - head liner has been repaired. We are in need of a four door car and do not wish to replace the shocks and struts and the car just barely passed CA smog in August. Only incident was hitting a deer at low speed on Highway 1 - deer got back up and walked away but the left front headlight and grill were not as lucky and have been repaired. Dealer is offering $700 trade in we are asking $1350. | | | 12-20-2012, 04:30 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Wichita Falls, Texas Posts: 1,364 | Good luck with the sale.
