There are some real nice people there. Don't know how they'd handle an imported car. They like their chevys. | | | 03-08-2007, 02:25 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by DustenT How far of a move is that? I have a few leads. Quote: Originally Posted by momorugger My brother lived in Greenville for a couple of years. There are some real nice people there. Don't know how they'd handle an imported car. Its going to be hard i guess. I was planning to move to Arizona on my own, maybe with my gf if i felt like taking her, lol. Make sure you take a good full tank of driving around in the new place. Find out where your stores are at, theatres, tire shops, racing events, main streets, stadiums, especially a hospital etc.. etc.. I cant NEVER leave LA. I think ill pass out if i ever did. I got EVERYTHING down here. But if i move to Arizona, itll be for a good reason. Cuz in my heart i cant ever imagine leaving LA maybe 45 minutes tops! Good Luck with the move. | | | 03-08-2007, 02:21 PM | #10 | doesn't care about you. We fell in love with a house that was sold the same day. I also passed a 318ti parked in a driveway in Greer. I had no decals with me. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 03-13-2007, 03:31 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Lincoln Park Capitol Hill, Washington DC Posts: 741 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti Man, you can buy a lot of house in the Greenville compared to the Washington, DC area. We're gonna miss seeing you at the Autocrosses. I still have your Scan tool BTW. __________________ It's always a great day to be underwater and play with the fish.....preserve our oceans and reefs" Fariz 1997 318ti, Hellrot (Bright Red), Dinan Stage 2 Chip 16x7 OEM sport Wheels/X-Brace/Custom Strut Brace/Cold Air Intake/M-Tec Steering Wheel/Koni Adjustable FrontShocks/ Bilstein Sport Rear Shocks /H&R Sport Springs/Custom fabricated strut tower brace/Rear Strut brace, Stromung Exhaust Future Mods: E46 17" wheels or Kosei K-1 17x8.5s | | | 03-13-2007, 03:41 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 1,152 | I guess us MA members up north here won't be able to meet you in person and check out your ti! Now there will be a good reason to go to the BMW plant and take some ///M classes. Good luck with the move and future plans! | | | 03-21-2007, 07:07 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Columbia, SC Posts: 528 | Columbia is an hour from Greenville, there's a bit of a car scene down here, and a small BMW scene as well. Greenville is nice, I've been up there a lot. There are more BMW's than enthusiasts, and with the plant right next door, there are a few BMW-related jobs to be had. Greenville is about 30 minutes away from the Blue Ridge mountains, which have a lot of twisty roads that are a blast to drive on. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
