don't think it's ISP because my moms new laptop loads them quickly too, I've gotten used to it so I don't really mind as much, I think it's worth the wait

Hi members, I've got some heath issues and will be off the board for a few days. Will be back when I get better. Currently I just got home and I'm going to bed for the next couple days. Plan to resume work on the turbo project soon and don't see any reason that I won't finish on-time.

Best, John Smith

John;

My excitement for your project is overwhelming, but your health must take top priority... Rest and be well. Your project will get completed when you are ready, not before. Your health is more important.

Hi John, nice to see this thread. You would not trust me but I started my turbo installation three days ago July should be the turbo month

Mine uses a Neukin manifold, T3 60 trim, 10 psi, internal WG (I know I made huge mistake, but when I bought my manifold I thought that there was much more space in there ), 36lbs injs.
Your seems to be a monster build, mine should be only a nice quiet DD car, not drag car
Then the important to me is to fit this first "beta stage", then I'll upgrade things to something better slowly.
Unfortunately I damaged the starter solenoid switch when removing the manifold, because my cheap ass mechanic ultra-torqued the main 12v cable to it and it was uber locked

I don't have a scavenge pump, but the turbo sits as yours, maybe mine a little higher. i hope to not smoke, I'll try to drill the pan as higher I could.
The internal wastegate was a PITA to fit in there. I had to do a VERY custom actuator rod.
I still have to weld the downpipe and do the oil system. All the other is done except those small things like tightening all clamps and such.

Only that I'm waiting for the new starter and other pieces to refit the intake manifold.

I've been looking for you. I've got all Damos files except the all important Motronic 5.2. If you have, well you know what you've got and we need to talk. Mine is a DMS-EVO3 A/R 71 Exhaust A/R 63 external waste gate. I'm installing tonight and I'm prepared to cut frame and fabricate new frame to make it fit. Best of luck with your install. On firmware we need to talk since I do have everything from 19# to 60# injectors on the 5.2 DME coded. I have not tested the 60# injectors yet but I'm confident it will work perfect since it just a map scale multiplier for the injectors.

Best, John S
