I need a 11131247995 Oil Pan for a 97 318is M44 Coupe. I have been driving around with my engine sitting on the cross beam. Which explains the oil leak and the odd sound in reverse and when starting.... I have had the pan off before for a thrust bearing upgrade and know this project is a lot of fun. kind of like a rain forest of dripping oil. Will yours fit?
Thanks.

Default M44 Oil Pan

Funny how things work out! I did not get a response from Original poster so I bought the last pan Vines had. I got the pan from Vines and compared it to my pan. I thought my pan had a crack, but it turns out that there is a casting line with a rough edge that crosses the smooth part of the pan and runs over the oil intake section. From below the oil runs down to the casting line and drips from it, this makes it appear that there is a crack in the pan. My leak is actually above the pan, so I do not need the pan I bought from Vines. The Vines pan needs to be cleaned and has the thread repair style oil Drain.

I paid 150.00 + 15.00 for shipping. If you cant find it cheaper, let me know.

I used 2- 2 x 4's across the strut towers to lift the Engine.
