Default What do you guys think?

I'm planning to buy 4 wheels from a 1995 M3 for $450. No tread left so just basically rims for that price. A little curb rash but in good shape according to the owner.

I don't believe they are 95 M3 wheels.
95 M3 wheels are double spoke and those wheels are a dime a dozen.
I wouldn't pay more than $100 each unless they where in excellent shape.
I have 11 of them.

Are those wheels pictured M Contours?
I think you need to see what others have been paying on bf.c to gauge a fair price.

That's what I was thinking. Thanks for the heads up. Slight curb rash has got mean a fair amound of wear and tear to the rim in general. Maybe I'll pass.

take a look around ebay. For $450, you might be able to find those rims brand new.

there's no way you're going to be able to find brand new genuine contours for that price.
If those are oem, staggered, and it's just rash, no bends, I'd take them for $450

Oh man, I already passed on them. Maybe he'll still have them next month when I can spend money from my payday.

I'd have jumped all over those if they are straight, staggered or not. Style 23 M-contours were OEM, US spec. E36 M3 after 1995. Presently, they are available new from BMW with a core exchange only at $491 each although dealer / club discounts can be found. Fully reconditioned, new paint and clearcoat, expect to pay up to $300 each. And, these numbers are + shipping. There are knock-offs available for far less, but the genuine BMW style 23 wheel is a high quality piece.

Sorry dude. I saw this online. . http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/pts/354842757.html the guy said he'd ship to NJ if paid up front. Probably not worth it if you can get in with your guy again.

I think it's better that it worked out this way. My credit card bill for the 318ti just got here today. I still owe about $6,000 for it. My brother's wedding is in August too and I want to give him a $1,000.

Thanks for all the advice though. I'm sure another deal will come up.
