Selling my 1998 318ti.
Price: $7,500 OBO
I have had it for two years and in that time put roughly 6,000 miles on it. I was hoping to turn it into a 318ti clubsport replica, as only 200 were made, and this 318ti is a sliptop (no sunroof), hellrot, got M3 bits and I have the full milpoint (red/black) interior from a clubsport. It is a rare car!
As it happened I am getting married and may not even end up living in the U.S. in the next couple years. I was hoping to keep this 318ti for a few decades, but only managed two years. In this time I spent more than $10k to fix it up, most mechanical, and even drove it up to Washington, visited my fiance and drove back. While driving up and back cruising between 75 – 90mph I consistently got 21 ~22 mpg. Even when it is mostly city it still stays at around 20 mpg, it is very consistent.
The car drives well and pulls hard, it has a TON of potential for someone who wants to continue working on it.
Pictures will be updated with current ones this coming week. The ones posted are a few months old, but give a good idea how the car looks, there will be differences though.
Basics: 1998 318ti
273xxx miles
Clean title
All new cooling system
All new suspension
M3 engine swapped (s52b32)
All new clutch/flywheel/UUC shifter
Upgraded brakes
3.15 LSD from z3
A/C works
Cons: Hood latch cable broke, so it has been creatively hidden in the fender well
Driver window falls of tracks, so I just keep it closed
Interior is mismatched and driver door panel is off
No radio
Tons of random imperfections. When I got it, it had $600 in fees, wasn't registered, didn't have a pink slip (I have one now) and had been beat on, so there is more work to do.

A few general ones, I really need to find time to take some pics. These are a few months old and it will not include things like the ACS mirrors, the front bumper will actually be an OEM 318ti Sport bumper - but in dark blue - not the M3 rep with lip, wheels will most likely be Style 5 that were platidipped black. Otherwise it is pretty close to exactly the same.
Engine Bay (will not include ACS strut bar):
Old interior pics (Have door panels and other bits will be included, center e-brake area is now black):
