The guy at the parts counter was a freakin idiot. He couldn't even find the clips in his computer, so I'm pretty sure they had them on hand, but he was just too lazy and stupid. The only reason he was able to find the intake boot was because I wrote down the part number on my hand. Anyway, here's the prices that I paid @ pelicanparts: 13-71-1-247-829 Intake Bellows, Air Flow Meter to Throttle Body--------$22.50 51-13-2-251-394 Moulding Clip for Front Door Side Moulding M Technic---$1.25ea x14 51-71-1-960-843 Hood Cowl, Covering for Windshield Wiper Motor Left---$23.25 51-71-1-960-844 Hood Cowl, Covering for Windshield Wiper Motor Right--$23.25 Free shipping, $7.14 tax, estimated delivery April 15th. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 04-12-2008, 12:44 AM | #19 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | not bad for all that!! __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 04-12-2008, 12:47 AM | #20 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | nice...i can't wait to see this car when it's done. __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 04-12-2008, 12:52 AM | #21 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | me either! i saw a few pictures of it but it will look a lotttttt cleaner next time i see pictures! __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 04-12-2008, 02:27 AM | #22 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Denver, Colorado Posts: 3,212 | yea i always hate going to the dealership. I always seem to have a hard time because the Ti is registered to my dad, for insurance reasons. Even though i'm the one that drives it all the time and takes care of it. That's why i always go to bavauto or pelican whenever i need parts. Screw the dealership. But yea can't wait to see some pics of the CS when your done. | | | 04-12-2008, 03:15 AM | #23 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | Quote: Originally Posted by teetime4one nice...i can't wait to see this car when it's done. | No worries... there will be plenty of time for that because Jess will always have that car. They've obviously bonded and he'll never be able to let someone else drive away in it. He may sell his '97, but the Club Sport will never leave his sight.. He just doesn't realize it yet. heh heh heh __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! Luckily I got the BMWCCA discount. I recommend Tischer BMW for online discount prices. Keep up the good work Jess. I washed and waxed it today for tomorrow's meet, but it still needs a clay bar and interior steam cleaning. The battery seems to have held the charge and is working properly now, so that's a bit of good news. I'm going to use the driver's side molding off of my '97 for tomorrow's meet because the clips I ordered won't be here until Tuesday. I was hoping that my DDM package would have arrived today as I wanted to install the foglights since both of the original ones are cracked. Good thing I have another Ti because guess what, yep the foglights are getting swapped too. I need to install my fender liners/splash guards, but I might wait until I get home from the meet. Tomorrow morning is going to be very busy if I want to make it to the meet by noon, but here's the best part, The ClubSport's registration expired back in October so guess what else will be getting swapped over Do you guys think the cops can tell the difference between a '97 and '95? __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 04-12-2008, 04:46 AM | #26 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | LMAO!!! yeah. i dont think they can tell jesse. But, it might not be a bad idea to take the insurance card from the '97 as well. IF you do get pulled over, the cop will probably compare (or at least have the opportunity) to compare the VIN from the registration and insurance card. If they don't match, it'll be all downhill I imagine. Believe me this isn't the first time I've broken the law and I'm not going out like that, lol. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 04-12-2008, 04:56 PM | #30 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | hahaha swapping over the EVERYTHINGS! sounds to me like everything fromt he 97 is going on the cs and seems like you will swap the motor in the 97 then be like well guess what gets to be swapped now ) hopefully the motor! all in favor for jesse to keep the club sport say i 1. thesk8nmidget! 2. _____________ 3.______________ __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
