Default M50 (OBDI) to ODBII (Chassis) issues

I am wondering how the chassis to engine harness wiring is done, specifically wire #8. I can not get my swap going, it cranks but does not want to fire up. I have included a couple of pictures to show the wiring for the chassis (OBDII from a 1998 ti) to the M50 (ODBI from a 1994 325i) Do I have to splice wire #1 on to wire #8 on the X20 connector, or bypass it? I have included pics of what I am taking about. Also what other reasons would there be for no starting? I have followed Bluebimma's swap thread and mine is exactly the same other then I have cut the wires on the engine harness instead of the chassis harness, but I do not see how that would make a difference. I also have replaced the CPS and I know the fuel pump works, I also have 2 "413" red label ECU's and neither one seem to get it to work.
