Coming from VWs I know they are regarded as the middle of the road in terms of ride but pretty nice quality and they have a huge range of height adjustment. Also, is the regular E36 kit the one meant for our cars? I keep on reading about how the rear setup is different on TIs so I'm wondering if there will be any fitment issues. Thanks for all the help guys | | | 07-28-2009, 04:48 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Austin Posts: 3,059 | KSport doesn't make any for the ti. But from what I hear, Ksport coilovers are great. The rears are different from the regular e30. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. I think they give a 3.1" drop. Since they aren't meant for performance, they're good for show. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. If you've got the money go with a T/C Kline or Ground Control. Get some FK or KW coils, or of course PSS9 is good. I am planning on getting some FK coils soon, hopefully. | | | 07-31-2009, 05:08 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | I think DDM coils = ksport coils. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 07-31-2009, 06:05 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2009 Location: Charlotte / Thomasville NC Posts: 240 | I think the build quality (or lack there of) is about the same; however, Ksport uses their own design and manufacturer independent of DDM's. | | | 07-31-2009, 06:27 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Raleigh/Charlotte, NC Posts: 1,233 | Quote: Originally Posted by Spax MC If I were to get coil sleeves, I mine as well go all the way and cut a couple of the coils on my stock springs.... maybe even try heating them up a bit. | ...not sure if serious __________________ -Jeff | | | 08-01-2009, 06:43 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Austin Posts: 3,059 | Quote: Originally Posted by spidertri I think DDM coils = ksport coils. | Where do you get that from? __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. By identical I mean the graph and all numbers were identical only the car make and type were changed to be BMW instead of STI. I saved the pics on my computer and I can post them up when I get home. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
