Techti Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Posts: 38 iTrader: (0) Photo Gallery	318ti w/blown head gasket - buy it or avoid it? I'm looking at a '98 318ti with 79,000 miles and a blown head gasket. I'm not sure what other damage could be waiting under the hood due to the blown head gasket. What kinds of things should I look for? Also, why would it have blown in the first place? Should I look into buying this car or avoid it? Any advice?
