I tried Bavarian Auto Recycling in CA, and they have the parts, but the shipping is $500 to Boston. So far, I have had no luck finding the parts in New England. I need a hood, drivers side fender, bumper cover, and grill filler panel (the metal part that holds the kidney grilles). Ideally, I would get silver parts, but right now, I would just like to get good quality parts that aren't dented or rusty. Therefore, can anyone suggest a good recycler / salvage yard within a few hundred miles of Boston or Detroit? I live near Boston, but I am from Detroit originally and go back every few months. Or, if you know of a silver BMW that was smashed in the rear, it might be worth it to buy as a parts car. Thanks. http://web.mit.edu/sprzesmi/Public/ | | | 04-02-2007, 08:45 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Manassas, VA Posts: 4,129 | I've got a stock front bumper, and kidney grills to sell. Got plenty of leads for parts, including silver ones. Thanks to all for your help. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
