I am interested, but have a question perhaps you or someone else can answer. It seems like there are two different versions of the e36 xbrace. The version like yours which has some strange bends in it - and then there seems to be a version that has only straight steel?

Am I missing something? Do either fit or are certain versions applicable only for certain models?

I do not know which car the "straight" version fits, or why, but this is the design that fits the ti, and most of the other e36 models. It may be related to the oil pan design. I have it on my cars.

The one you posted is an older version.

Those cover the oil pan drain bolts. So doing an oil change will be a pita. Youll have to remove the x brace everytime to access the drain bolt.

The newer ones are the ones i have. Clears the drain bolt

Thats the only difference.

Wow... I never knew there was an earlier version, and I always wondered why the X-brace was so asymmetrical. Now I know. Thanks, and GLWS! :-D

I recommend the x-brace; I installed one and you can feel the benefit. John

Sent you a PM yesterday to which you have not responded. Paypal was made a month ago and still waiting for this part. Two weeks ago you said there was some confusion, but still no follow through.

Default Send REFUND NOW! Your PM box is full

Its been 6 weeks now. Send me a REFUND now. Sent emails, texts, PM's etc, but no respoond, no Xbrace and no refund. I started a paypal inquiry but you never responded to that either. I will continue to pursue a paypal claim, but would rather save me the aggravation.

I have contacted this seller on a different post and he never responded either. I think something happened.
