Default New TI owner in PA

Just bought my first TI. It is a 1997 318ti M-tech edition. It has had a 1993 325i motor swap along with an e30 3.73lsd, 325i front brakes and a couple other goodies I am probably forgetting. I am new to TIs but not BMWs or e36s. I have owned a 86 325, 87 325i, 88 325is, 89 325i, 90 325is, 92 525it, my last car was a 95 318is, and my girlfriend currently drives a 97 528i. This TI is a huge improvement over my 318is. The 318is had 326,000 miles and those were hard miles.

I'll get more pictures soon.

I bought my first bmw in 1999 and have been hooked ever since. I would buy the e30s with over 200,000 miles run them for a year or two then sell it and buy another. I still miss my last one it was the 89 had a rebuilt motor, m3 springs, kyb sport shock and struts, m3 control arms and bushings. If it hadn't blown a radiator hose and over heated I'd probably still have it. Although this little ti might soon become my new favorite.

I like the handling and feel of the car, along with the extra power. The 318is felt bloated compared to the ti and the e30s. Plus it is more unique looking and the car is in a lot better shape. My uncle built this ti years ago and I have wanted it ever since so it cares a lot of sentimental value too.

Thank you guys for the nice welcoming.

Columbia is about a hour south of Strausstown. The car has 83,000 miles and engine has about 60,000. The car was basically a gift from my uncle. He wanted to keep it in the family and there is the issue with emissions due to the engine being obd1 and car being obd2 so he sold it to me cheap.
