Default Meyle control arms

The bushings in my Ti need to be replaced.

Since I'd rather just start fresh, I plan on replacing everything on the front end at the same time.

Lemforder is the OEM supplier for suspension bits, and is the defacto "OEM" part. However, they are also $175 per arm opposed to the meyle arm w/metal ball joint.

Has anyone had trouble with the meyle stuff?

Also, will the M3 offset lower bushing cause camber issues? I plan on lowering the car about 1 - 1.5". Can I have the camber adjusted so it's not all out of whack?

I have them, they might better than OEM since they are full metal ball joints, not sure what OEM spec is so I can't say for sure.

never had a problem with mine though

I have had heavy-duty Meyle controlarms, tie-rods and balljoints for the passed 2 1/2 years, and have had no issues.

Meyle is a very reputable parts maker.

as for the lower offset bushings, I highly doubt they will cause any issues with acheiving a proper alignment.

2.5 years is good enough for me

Where do I order the "HD" control arms? Or are those just the normal LCA's with the metal ball joints?

Sorry to chime in late on this one- but you can definitely get OEM control arms for less than $175ea. Try Pelican, Bav, getbmwparts, etc.

If you're upgrading to M3 bushings, get the concentric (96 and later) M3 bushings instead of the offset (only 95) bushings, and you should have no trouble.
