second m50 into the MZK2 TI... thread

soo here we go again after almost a year that ive swaped the first m50 into my lil ti after blowing the m44 due to the disa valve pin shooting threw the head damaging 1/2/3 pistons and who knows what damage the valves have..

so i got a complete m50 from a friends car w/ around 200k.changed the belts.valve cover gasket/water pump 2 times....
so this motor has been beat everyday since its been under my foot..
now it has about 220-230k and its giving up..burning oil like crazy i gota add like a qt a week also the clutch is dead and getrag 3d gear is finished..

i didnt think this motor was goin to last this long under all this beating i been giving it..couple drag races 14.6 at 93mph stock motor. no lsd.sliping clutch.bad 3rd.

so i been gathering my parts for a while.
80k m50
110k zf trans
jbr m3 10lb flywheel
m3 act 6puck sprung clutch kit
4.10 lsd+ axels
m3 cluster

my ti will be parked for about two weeks..getting done

repainted engine bay..bbs gold=gk1 color code
re routing the wires behind the fenders=little wire tuck
new head lights+angel eyes
moving licence plate
new rims + tires /// unknown yet
new exhaust setup 2.5 inch pipes w/apex world sport 2 exhaust
front dove gray vaders LOOKING FOR


whats still needed
zf drive shaft
shifter carier/selector


picking her up

stockk

front lip+fogs

black rims

and how it sits at the moment

Yes it does lol i wanted to have it finished by this weekend but I been waiting a long time for my cluth setup soo it Put me back alot...
Hopefully shell be in the werkz in about a week..

I bough a 318i that needed some suspencion work fixed it and I'll be using that in the mean time

I dont remember now I bought it of a shop a guy had it laying around.80 bucks I paid for it and it lasted a while until I dropped the car

I like the ride. Looks like your progressions have been very tasteful. I have wanted to powdercoat my wheels white. Looks good on black. Mine is white though.

Yea it's been a long ride she's getting better every day lol.. Yea I did the wheels a couple months ago and I really like how the look on the car..PITA too kee clean tho lol

Go some complain bout oil/gas fumes today from other members riding behind lol.. Next time bring a gas mask lol j/k

hello, i am new here and just bought my first ti and love it... wanted one for years.. had to settle for an automatic cuz it was the color i wanted, alaska blue and a m series... but i want to do a motor and trans swap 6cyl any help would be appreciated

it was a good thing YOU warned me before hand... the other cars behind me were like WHEEEW somebody was burnin oil like a MOFO... hahaa

Yea haha I warned everyone exept those guys in he gray ti that were the last ones to get there lol..
No wonder every one was keeping a distance jajaja we should definatly have another gtg tho and mayb more Ti's join next time
