Default DASC Question

Hey all,

I'm thinking of getting a DASC for my ti but I'm concerned about jeopardizing my mpg (I get around 30-32mpg average). I read on the DASC website that it doesn't change much but when speaking with a friend about it, he said that because of the way I drive (I take it to redline quite a bit) that it would go down substantially. If anyone has any imput, I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks, Lisa

It won't change much. I get better mileage on the highway than I did before the DASC. In town it drops a little bit, but never below 25mpg.

redlining anytime is bad for your mileage btw so i wouldn't be worried about it man

Hmmm, maybe I should change my driving habits to see what kind of mileage I could get. I thought 32 was good........

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.

what do you mean by driving 80 causing that? the poor mileage or the 30 mpg? If you drive around 55-65 you'll get a lot better mileage than driving 80 on the highway. Your engine has to work harder to push air out of the way faster.

Your 20 mpg in town is directly related to your heavy foot on the skinny pedal.
