Default Widebody kits

I'm looking to do an engine swap and need wider tires to deal w/ the power, and that means body work. I like the body work on this car, but does any body know where somebody can buy it? The spoiler is sacrilege, but I like the fenders.

any info or anything would be cool.

you'd need the bumper aswell, unless you make yours wider. i think those front wings ming to high heaven! they're awful especially when they're painted with all that bumpy fibreglass.

that spoiler is made for a purpose its a rally car.... i think it looks good anyway...

you dont need wide ass tyres to deal with the power... you can run 235s or maybe a bit wider without the need of a widebody kit....

the ///M1 came with 270+bhp and ran 225s in the back...

with good tyres you shouldnt need any more....

btw what kind of power are planning to be pushing to need 245+ ?

oh and btw that kit is custom....

An s50b32 is rated at 341 horses. exhaust, intake, chips, maybe up to 375? J!m always says that he shreds his tires with 240 horsepower. How wide of a wheel can you fit w/ rolled fenders?

If you are referring to the euro-spec s50b32, its rated at 321 hp stock.

The widest rear tire I’ve run on my ti (with fenders rolled) was a 255/35-18. The tire was mounted on a SSR-GT3 wheel measuring 18x9.5 et 43.

with those mods on a 3.2 it would be more like 330 before 375...

a friend of mine has a 3.2 with all those got 307bhp....

jim is quoting 240 at the wheels i assume...

either way i wouldnt think you need a widebody... if m-technik ti ran 255 then you definetly dont....

255 is e46 m3 with 343bhp.....

its up to you if you have spare cash and want to make your car look good then go ahead but dont say you HAD to do it to run wider tyres... cos its pure asteatics

318is, the S50B32 is not the standard S50 motor. It generates 321 hp to the flywheel. The standard S50 is 240 US/286 Euro.

About wider tires: they only help because of the sidewalls, not apply the force better. Think about simplistic physics: Ff=u*Fn. The Normal force is constant, so as long as the compound is the same (u), the tires will give the same amount of friction down on the road. Maybe negligible amounts of extra grip will be seen, but as long as the sidewalls are the same height, it shouldn't matter much.
