Default Luxury Slats..how are they attached

Hey. How are the Slats attached to the M bumper cover? I am missing some parts.

The slats on my bumper are only held on by the top pins. There are two more pins on each side but the one-way washers(?) is missing from them. There are also is two holes at the bottom which looks like something goes there

Can someone take a picture of how their slats are attached? Front and backside would be appreciated.

I searched all over looking for this before posting but came up empty handed.

Thanks!

I puched mine out by parking (sliding) in to a snow bank one winter. I never put anything back in its place.

I think those pins are supposed to go all around. 2 top, 2 bottom, 2 on each side. The slats assembly is then held in place with the one-way washers you describe. It's part number 64111364257 (#10). There's a picture on the diagram, but it's not great. Google image search "internal toothed washer" for the general idea. I'd get the BMWs ones though, they call them "spring nuts". Should be about 25¢ each from BMW.

In addition, the sides have spacer pieces. 51112251389 and 51112251390. I'm guessing they go between the slats and spring nuts, but I'm not sure. Here's the two I have from my car after I punched it out.

Reviving old thread as I would like to get this sorted out.

I took a few pictures of under the car. I assume I am missing a underbelly pan of some sort. Not sure though.

It appears my car had some run ins with parking stops in it's previous life and has had some parts either removed or ripped off. I would like to get it back to stock.

What am I missing?

Any info would be helpful.

Thanks,

yeah you're missing the center splash guard, should go back to about the radiator. I don't have lux slats so I'm not sure how they attach though

Anyone have the part number of this splash guard? The parts guys at my local dealership can't find a picture or a part number for this part. I can't find it on realoem either. Thanks, John
