Hey guys, i had my code read, and came back for a Camshaft Postition sensor.. Should i go ahead and replace it? or should i first check to see if theres somehting loose or shotage of some sort..should i remove the sensor from the block and just clean it off, might that give it some life back? the Code reader came up with a misfire in all 4 cylinders, would that be cause by the camshaft? also would the sensor make my engine idle so rough? i have a 98ti with 142K.. You can try removing it from the head, cleaning the metal shavings from it, then retrying it, it may help, it may not. I have a couple of them sitting in the garage if you need one. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 11-01-2009, 09:47 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Florida Posts: 146 | Hey Bluebumma..
