Hey guys, i had my code read, and came back for a Camshaft Postition sensor.. Should i go ahead and replace it? or should i first check to see if theres somehting loose or shotage of some sort..should i remove the sensor from the block and just clean it off, might that give it some life back? the Code reader came up with a misfire in all 4 cylinders, would that be cause by the camshaft? also would the sensor make my engine idle so rough? i have a 98ti with 142K..

You likely need to just replace the sensor. You can try removing it from the head, cleaning the metal shavings from it, then retrying it, it may help, it may not. just do it. take one step at a time and pay close attention at what you're doing so you can put it back together. its not as hard as you think. __________________
