I have a '96 white over charcoal with ~160K. It is an auto, but I have a 5-speed 318i parts car.
I/my shop just resealed the upper timing cover and the oil filter housing. We replaced the outer ball joints and tie-rods, replaced the front brake hoses and flushed the fluid, replaced both air filters, changed the oil, repaired the coolant leak at the fitting on the back of the head, etc. I also replaced the driver's side seat belt receiver to get the SRS system back up to snuff.
All in all this 318ti is way above average. At this point the only known issue is that the radio amp seems to be bad, but I should be able to get that fixed up with no issue. The previous owner was a customer and has done $2,600 worth of work in the last 1.5 years (we have all of the records).
Here are some exterior photos (I do have the tow-hook cover):
It does have a torn bolster on the driver's seat, but I am hoping to track down some fabric to fix it.
As it sits right now I am asking $4,500. I'd throw in the manual parts car for another $300. I can pull all of the 5-speed parts for a fee.
