Default 24hr Clock to 12hr Clock Without Stock Head Unit?

Hi guys. I was wondering how to change the digital clock on my 1997 ti to AM/PM from an army-style clock. I read in the manual that you press the hour and minute button but I don't see that. When I bought the car, it came with an aftermarket radio and the guy didn't give me the stock one. Is that where the min/hr buttons are? I only have two buttons beneath the obc display that say S/R and the second is a little clock-looking picture. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you've got an multi-function computer, not just a clock, so the buttons are different, I don't have my owners manual handy so I can't really help you

the head unit has nothing to do with it though

All you have to do is press both buttons (hour + minute) at the same time and presto!

Pics always help and most if not all TIs have the two buttons but you never know.

I figured it out. Thanks to all that helped. It turns out I had to hold the button with the clock symbol to be able to switch it.

BTW, whoever designed the OBC display must have been really short because I cant see it well unless I move my head down. Its pretty distracting.

yeah, wtf. i am 6ft and i can read it fine.. haha.. how high is your seat.

also, btw, since u did not know how to change time, i doubt u know that you can use that little clock to read your MPG, average speed, ummm .. trip time? i dont remeber.. i had one when i bought the car, but i fuxed it up when i installed my Head unit. it like uncoded, and the time frame of where i had to re-program it was to short. whatever.. haha

they are nice tho. u just have to push in the turning single button..

I do actually know how to see MPG, etc. Thanks though. As for my height I am about 5'9 and for some reason I just can't see it that well. Then again, it was when I had my sunroof and my windows open. Maybe it was the intensive light. I drove today while it was raining and I could see it fine.
