So I slid in to a curb last night. The rear right trailing arm is bent I haven't been able to take the wheel off to look at the hub yet. My question is can I use an e30 rear trailing arm on the ti? I imagine I would need to use a different wheel hub. I did some google searching and didn't find an answer. Might be posing my question incorrectly on Google but thought I would ask here. Any help would be great, thanks. If you look local, you can get better used prices on trailing arms. Ebay sells them for about $400 but most people will sell them for around $100 or less. | | | 11-16-2013, 01:51 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2009 Location: Merritt Island, FL Posts: 351 | No, they look the same but there some critical differences which makes them incompatible. The deal breaker is the wheel bearing is not the same because the ti hub would have to press into the e30 bearing and the e30 bearing is slightly bigger... __________________ Alpine Weiß 1995 318ti M50tu mostly stock, chip'd 413, AFE Intake. e36 M3 front brakes, e30 M3 rear calipers. e28 3.25 LSD + e30 axles. I'll post pics soon but I've got most of the parts figured out just need the cash now. Figured out the rear subframe is bent, the front control arm and tie rod is bent, and my steering rack might need to be replaced. So it's time for upgrades lol.
